In all cases, the total liability of Green Custom Boxes to the user for any claims, losses, or causes of action arising from this agreement or the use of our packaging services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer to https://greencustomboxes.com for the specific order in question.
Order Placement, Payments and Cancellations
Green Custom Boxes displays product prices in USD ($) on our website and accepts payments in the same currency. Orders are placed into production only after full payment is processed—including taxes, shipping charges, and any custom manufacturing fees—through an authorized payment gateway.
Customers must provide accurate box specifications, dimensions, and artwork files electronically or via physical samples. Once the client reviews and grants final approval on digital or hardcopy proofs, the order is sent directly to the production facility, after which no structural or graphical modifications can be made.
Customers may cancel a custom box order within 4 hours after proof approval, subject to a cancellation fee of 7.5% of the total order value. Cancellation requests submitted after 24 hours may be accepted at Green Custom Boxes’s discretion, carrying a fee of 50% or more of the total payment to cover raw materials, plate setup, and labor already allocated. Green Custom Boxes reserves the right to cancel or proceed with an order in accordance with company policy.
Design Orders
Custom packaging design, structural dieline creation, and artwork setup services are non-refundable. Once a custom design order is placed, it cannot be canceled, and all payments are final.
Sales Tax Policy
Customers within the United States are required to pay applicable state and local sales tax on custom packaging orders. Tax-exempt organizations must submit a valid tax exemption certificate at the time of order placement to qualify.
Customers’ Artwork/Files
Our Prepress and Production Team generates digital or physical proofs based strictly on customer-submitted artwork files. We require all artwork files to be submitted in High-Resolution (300 DPI minimum), vector format, and set to CMYK color mode with final printable box dimensions (including bleed lines). If files do not meet these specifications, https://greencustomboxes.com is not responsible for pixelation, blurriness, or color shifts occurring during RGB-to-CMYK conversion.
The client is solely responsible for artwork orientation, alignment, layout, text legibility, and structural folding sequences. While Green Custom Boxes takes reasonable precautions to safeguard submitted media, we are not responsible for the corruption or loss of customer artwork files. Customers guarantee that all uploaded images, graphics, and trademarks are their legal property or properly licensed.
Green Custom Boxes reserves the right to refuse any custom printing order deemed unlawful, infringing, or objectionable without prior notification or formal explanation. Customers assume all legal liabilities for printed content produced under their direction.
Color Precision and Proofs
Custom box orders move directly to prepress production only after formal approval of digital or physical proofs by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to carefully examine all proofs to prevent production delays. All turnarounds and estimated ship dates stated on https://greencustomboxes.com or in written quotes begin strictly after proof approval is received.
We urge customers to thoroughly inspect proofs against original files for errors in duplication, spacing, structural dielines, text accuracy, bleed areas, cut lines, and overall content. Digital proofs should also be checked for transparency issues or color shifts resulting from CMYK conversion. Please note that surface finishes like gloss/matte lamination, aqueous coating, or UV varnish can alter the appearance of printed colors. Green Custom Boxes is not responsible for color variations caused by post-press surface treatments. The customer assumes full responsibility for the contents and design layout of the final approved proof.
While Green Custom Boxes employs industrial printing standards to achieve accurate color reproduction, precise color matching between digital monitors and printed ink cannot be guaranteed due to variations in monitor calibrations, substrates, and inks. Green Custom Boxes does not offer free reprints for minor color variations inherent to standard press production. Exact color matching can only be guaranteed if a physical hardcopy proof or PMS (Pantone Matching System) color match is explicitly ordered and approved prior to the run.
No Liability for Errors
Green Custom Boxes assumes no liability for errors in the final manufactured products resulting from customer-approved proofs, including but not limited to:
- Grammatical errors, typos, spelling mistakes, or incorrect font rendering.
- Overprinting errors or improper layer setups in artwork files.
- Minor cracking along score lines or folds inherent to heavy cardstock and paperboards.
- Customer-approved dieline placement, crop line variations, or bleed errors.
- Design placement relative to structural folds or cutouts.
- Slight variance in the finished box dimensions within standard manufacturing tolerances.
Overruns/Underruns
In accordance with custom packaging industry standards, Green Custom Boxes reserves the right to deliver within a 5% overrun or underrun of the ordered quantity. If an overrun occurs, additional boxes are provided at no extra charge. In the event of an underrun, the customer will only be billed for the exact quantity delivered, and a pro-rated refund/credit will be issued for the difference.
Gang Printing
Green Custom Boxes utilizes dedicated custom production runs for most custom box orders rather than gang-run printing. However, depending on project specs, material choices, and turnarounds, Green Custom Boxes reserves the right to select the optimal layout and press method best suited for quality and efficiency.
Production, Shipping and Delivery
Green Custom Boxes prioritizes eco-friendly manufacturing materials, recyclable paperboards, and sustainable inks that minimize environmental impact. Standard production timelines begin after all of the following conditions are met:
- Full payment has been processed and cleared.
- The complete and verified shipping address is provided.
- Final approval of digital or physical proofs is confirmed by the client.
Press Review & Production Schedules
During order placement on https://greencustomboxes.com, customers can select their preferred production speed and shipping options. Proof approvals must be submitted prior to 10:00 PM (Eastern Timezone Time) to count toward that business day’s schedule. While Green Custom Boxes makes every effort to produce and ship custom box orders on schedule, we are not liable for losses, business interruptions, or damages caused by production or shipping delays.
Customers acknowledge that Green Custom Boxes is not responsible for transit delays resulting from severe weather, carrier bottlenecks, or customs inspections, as these events are beyond our control. Orders cannot be canceled due to transit delays; however, expedited shipping fees may be refunded where carrier guarantees apply.
Green Custom Boxes operates production facilities across the USA, UK, and Asia. Our production team assigns orders to specific facilities based on box style, material requirements, order volume, and delivery destination. If a customer requires production within a specific region, they must state this requirement prior to placing the order.
Customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and clearing fees associated with international shipments outside of USA. Standard turnaround for custom packaging is 5-7 business days for production, with 3-5 business days for rush options (and 2-4 business days for standard ground transit within USA), regardless of box volume or shipment weight. Split shipments to multiple addresses or address correction requests after dispatch will incur additional handling fees. Green Custom Boxes is not responsible for lost or stolen packages during transit, but official carrier claims can be initiated 6 business days after the ship date. Tracking numbers will be provided via email upon dispatch when available.
All Custom Packaging and Box Supplies are shipped securely, flat, or pre-assembled according to product specifications.
